History & Origin
We wish we could say we created the original Ultimate Runner, but alas, we cannot. The Twin City Track Club Inc (TCTC) in Winston-Salem, NC owns the distinction of creating Ultimate Runner with Sandy Weatherhold as the original founder.
They will be producing their 40th Ultimate Runner event on June 27, 2026 in Winston-Salem. You can see their site here https://runsignup.com/Race/NC/WinstonSalem/UltimateRunner.
TCTC is very gracious to allow us the user the Ultimate Runner name. We hope to honor their vision and tradition with our St Pete version!
